Why Does Hard Drive Change File System from NTFS or
FAT32 to RAW?
A hard drive is usually divided into
several partitions on computer, which makes it convenient for computer users to
store data. When users save data to different partitions, they can easily find
out the files they want. Usually, those partitions are shown as NTFS or FAT32 file type. However,
the partition might be changed to RAW file system due
to some causes. Do you know why a partition changes its file type from NTFS or
FAT32 to RAW?
There is no certain reason for a hard drive
changes file system to RAW. For example, if the hard drive has bad sectors, it may lead the partition to be shown as RAW drive.
Apart from bad sectors, if the hard drive is attacked by spyware or virus, it
can also cause the partition to change its file type to RAW. When a hard drive
or computer has other problem, the partition may also show RAW file system.
